Atelier Biaggeti

In the old days, caned chairs were commonly used by Italians. Apparently even Vincent Van Gogh had one. Atelier Biagetti is the Milan-based practice of Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari. The atelier operates in the fields of art, design and architecture to create objects, interiors and site-specific installations for galleries and private collectors across the world.

Here is one of my sketches of their work named: Vincent Chairs. They designed an unusual yet beautiful version of the old caned chairs. These were displayed at Unikat exhibition, curated by Alice Stori Liechtenstein.
